Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
These terms govern your use of Revtown's hosted service at app.revtown.io and the open source framework at revtown.io. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
The service
Revtown provides a RevOps agent framework that connects to CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) and runs automated checks against your data. The hosted dashboard (app.revtown.io) runs agents on a schedule and delivers results via the dashboard and Slack. The open source CLI (npx revtown) runs agents on your own machine using your own credentials.
Shadow mode and write-back
Revtown operates in shadow mode by default. This means agents read your CRM data but do not modify, delete, or create any records unless you explicitly enable write-back mode. Write-back mode is a paid feature that requires deliberate activation. You will always be informed before any write operation is performed.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the authority to connect your CRM to Revtown
- You must keep your account credentials and API keys secure
- You may not use Revtown to access CRM data you are not authorized to access
- You may not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
- You may not resell or sublicense access to the hosted service without written permission
Open source framework
The @revtown/core npm package and the contents of the LeRevOps/leclaw repository are licensed under the MIT License. You are free to use, fork, modify, and distribute the framework subject to the terms of that license. These Terms of Service apply to the hosted product only, not the open source framework.
Data and privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Revtown does not sell your data. Raw CRM records are never stored. Only run metadata (counts, scores, timestamps) is persisted.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance or unexpected outages may occur. Revtown is not liable for any losses resulting from service unavailability.
Limitation of liability
Revtown is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revtown and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Revtown's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Revtown in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. You can delete your account by emailing hello@revtown.io. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Upon termination, your run history and stored credentials will be deleted within 30 days.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will notify active users by email before material changes take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
